Sarda was a female humanoid alien who worked as a dabo girl at Quark's bar aboard the space station Deep Space 9. She had recently arrived at the station in 2369.
Shortly after her arrival, Sarda approached Commander Benjamin Sisko to complain about a clause in her employment contract that required her to perform sexual favors for her employer, Quark. Sisko invalidated the clause and directed Quark not to include such provisions in his contracts again.
