Commander T'Ana, MD, was a female Caitian Starfleet officer of the sciences division who served as chief medical officer of the USS Cerritos in the late 24th century. Known for an acerbic bedside manner and casual profanity, she was nonetheless a highly capable physician.
Among her notable feats, T'Ana synthesized a cure for the Galardonian rage virus in 2380 and mentored ensigns including D'Vana Tendi, whom she recommended for senior science officer training. An avid barefoot rock climber, she also carried on a relationship with security chief Lieutenant Shaxs.
