Talas was a female Andorian lieutenant in the service of the Andorian Imperial Guard during the 2150s, serving as tactical officer aboard the Imperial warship Kumari under Commander Shran. She came from an independently-wealthy family with a long tradition of military service.
In 2154 Talas began a romantic relationship with Shran. After the Kumari was destroyed and its survivors rescued by Enterprise, she was fatally wounded during a confrontation with a Tellarite delegation and died of a phase-pulse infection in the Enterprise sickbay.
