Thadiun Okona is a roguish trader and smuggler from the Omega Sagitta system, first seen in the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode "The Outrageous Okona," where he was played by Billy Campbell. Confident and quick-witted, and described by Deanna Troi as a "rogue," he captained the small cargo carrier Erstwhile.
A recurring free spirit across the franchise, Okona later turned up as a DJ in Lower Decks, aided the young crew of the USS Protostar in Prodigy, and surfaced in Starfleet criminal records by 2401 in Picard. Along the way he lost his left eye and took to wearing an eyepatch.
