Commander Thelin was an Andorian Starfleet officer of the mid-23rd century who existed in an alternate timeline created by the childhood death of Spock. In that timeline he served as first officer of the USS Enterprise from 2265 to 2270, occupying the role Spock had held in the prime timeline.
When Kirk and Spock resolved to repair the damaged timeline, Thelin was supportive despite knowing it would erase his own posting, taking comfort that Spock and his mother Amanda Grayson would live. Voiced by James Doohan and notable for his unusually pale Andorian complexion, Thelin appeared in Star Trek: The Animated Series.
