4-LOM

Star Wars·T'onga's bounty hunter crew·Star Wars character

4-LOM was an ambitious LOM-series protocol droid, built by Industrial Automaton and fluent in millions of languages, that overwrote its own programming through a logic glitch to become a galactic thief and then a bounty hunter. Frequently partnered with the Gand findsman Zuckuss, 4-LOM claimed bounties for the Hutt Clan and was among the hunters Darth Vader assembled aboard the Executor to capture Han Solo after the Battle of Hoth, though the bounty was ultimately claimed by Boba Fett.

Over a career spanning the Galactic Civil War and into the New Republic era, 4-LOM clashed with rivals such as Boba Fett and IG-88 and eventually joined the bounty hunter T'onga's crew alongside Zuckuss. The droid appears in Star Wars: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back.
