9-EZ was an A-LT utility droid that operated on the moon Jedha. In 1 BBY it was rolling through a street in Jedha City when a passing Imperial "Occupier" combat assault tank carrying kyber crystals was attacked by Partisan fighters, destroying the tank and nearby buildings; soon after, the Empire destroyed Jedha City with the Death Star.
