Alayus Bolandin was a human officer of the Galactic Empire who served in the 224th Imperial Armored Division during the Mimban Campaign. After the death of Major Staz he took command at Camp Forward and later received a field promotion to captain from General Falk.
A veteran loyal to the Empire, Bolandin regarded Corporal Han Solo as a troublemaker and ordered him fed to "the beast" when Solo was presented as a deserter. He appeared in Solo: A Star Wars Story, where he was credited only as the "Mimban Lieutenant" before later reference works established his full name.
