Albee Dewaw was the persona of an enormous hologram that appeared to rule over the civilization on the planet Balnab. Capable of projecting intimidating displays of lightning, the figure was in truth a fabrication controlled by a group of DUM-series pit droids operating from a crashed starship.
The illusion was exposed when the stranded droids R2-D2 and C-3PO recognized Dewaw as a hologram and revealed the pit droids' hidden control room. Albee Dewaw appeared in the Star Wars: The Clone Wars episode "Nomad Droids."
