She socialized with Skywalker and his friends Wald and Kitster Banai in the Slave Quarters of Mos Espa, and was present the day before Skywalker's victory in the Boonta Eve Classic podrace.
Amee was portrayed by Katie Lucas, daughter of George Lucas, in Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace, credited under the pseudonym "Jenna Green."
