Ap'lek was a Force-sensitive humanoid male who served as one of the Knights of Ren, a band of dark-side warriors led by an individual known as Ren and later by Kylo Ren. An adept of the dark side whose powers remained underdeveloped, he was regarded as the most cunning of the Knights, favoring deception, feints, and misdirection over open violence.
Ap'lek wielded an ancient modified Mandalorian executioner's vibro-ax of beskar alloy and carried a smoke canister suited to his preference for stealth. In 35 ABY he and his fellow Knights guarded the entrance to the Sith Citadel and were killed by the redeemed Ben Solo during the climactic Battle of Exegol.
