Jacen Syndulla is a Force-sensitive human-Twi'lek hybrid, the son of Rebel and New Republic general Hera Syndulla and the Jedi Knight Kanan Jarrus, and the grandson of the Twi'lek revolutionary Cham Syndulla. Born on Lothal in the closing years of the Galactic Civil War, he grew up among his mother's crew, the Spectres, with the astromech droid Chopper as a constant companion.
Introduced in the epilogue of Star Wars Rebels and later appearing in live action in the series Ahsoka, Jacen shows an early aptitude for piloting and a wish to follow his father's path as a Jedi. His connection to the Force helps the New Republic locate Ahsoka Tano during the search across the galaxy.
