Kazuda 'Kaz' Xiono was a human male born on Hosnian Prime around 14 ABY, the son of New Republic Senator Hamato Xiono. A gifted pilot, he served in the Starfighter Corps of the New Republic Defense Fleet before being recruited by Poe Dameron to spy on the First Order from the Colossus refueling station on Castilon.
Working undercover as a mechanic in Jarek Yeager's repair shop, Xiono befriended Neeku Vozo and Tamara Ryvora and joined the racing crew Team Fireball and later Ace Squadron. He played a central role in liberating the Colossus from First Order occupation, and ultimately piloted the Fireball at the Battle of Exegol as part of the Citizens' Fleet.
