Moroff was a towering Gigoran male mercenary and heavy gunner active during the Imperial Era. Hailing from the Outer Rim planet Gigor, he traveled the galaxy selling his firepower to the highest bidder, ultimately joining the Partisans, the extremist militia led by resistance fighter Saw Gerrera, in the hope of turning conflict into profit.
During his time with the Partisans he fought Imperial forces on Jedha, helped capture the defecting pilot Bodhi Rook, and looted a shipment of kyber crystals in Jedha City before the Death Star obliterated the moon's capital. Moroff first appeared in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (2016), portrayed by Ian Whyte. Chronology of his campaigns is detailed in the Timeline.
