Quiggold was a male Gabdorin pirate and buccaneer who hailed from the planet Gabdor and served as the First Mate of Captain Sidon Ithano's pirate crew. Operating primarily in the Outer Rim Territories in the decades after the Galactic Civil War, he was known for a peg leg fashioned from a fuel funnel and a heavy repeater cannon he nicknamed "Deck Sweeper."
Quiggold accompanied Ithano to Maz Kanata's castle on Takodana, where the First Order defector Finn sought passage to the Outer Rim. He first appeared in the short story "The Crimson Corsair and the Lost Treasure of Count Dooku" and made a minor on-screen appearance in Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens.
