Ryder Azadi was a human male politician from Lothal who served as the planet's governor during the early years of Imperial rule. Sympathetic to the anti-Imperial broadcasts of Ephraim and Mira Bridger, he was charged with treason and imprisoned under the designation "Prisoner X10."
After the Bridgers organized a prison break in which they lost their lives, Azadi escaped and sought out their son, Ezra Bridger, to tell him what had happened. He joined the local Spectres and Phoenix cells, and by 2 BBY led a rebel saboteur group targeting the Lothal Imperial Armory Complex.
Azadi played an important role in the campaign to liberate Lothal from the Empire, and after the Galactic Civil War resumed his governorship under the New Republic. He appears in Star Wars Rebels.
