Son

The Son, also known as the Brother, was a male Force wielder who dwelled in the ethereal realm of Mortis alongside his father, the Father, and his sister, the Daughter. Together the three formed the family known as the Ones — beings who possessed a singular and immensely powerful connection to the Force.

Where the Daughter embodied the light, the Son aligned himself with the dark side of the Force and was regarded as the embodiment of selfishness. He could reshape his body at will, taking the shape of a monstrous gargoyle, and wielded destructive powers such as Force lightning. Only the Dagger of Mortis was said to be capable of harming a being of his kind.

The Son longed to escape Mortis and spread the dark side across the galaxy, seeing the Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker — the prophesied Chosen One — as the key to his freedom. His schemes brought him into conflict with Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and the Padawan Ahsoka Tano. The chronology of these events is detailed in the Timeline.
