Ursa Wren was a human female Mandalorian warrior who led Clan Wren as its Countess. The wife of the artist Alrich Wren and mother of Sabine and Tristan Wren, she was a member of House Vizsla and once fought with the Death Watch splinter group during the Clone Wars before deserting to join Bo-Katan Kryze's Nite Owls.
In 19 BBY she took part in the Siege of Mandalore as a general, aiding the Republic's 332nd Division against Maul's Shadow Collective. Under the subsequent Imperial occupation, Ursa outwardly sided with the Empire and Viceroy Gar Saxon to shield her family, whose standing had been damaged by Sabine's desertion from the Imperial Academy.
When Sabine returned to the Wren stronghold on Krownest seeking her clan's support for the rebellion, Ursa's pragmatism clashed with her daughter's idealism. After Saxon betrayed a bargain and ordered Clan Wren's extermination, Ursa killed him to save Sabine, reigniting civil war on Mandalore. She later aided the rebels and, by the end of the Galactic Civil War, was killed alongside her husband and son during the Great Purge of Mandalore.
