Yaddle was a Force-sensitive female Jedi Master of the same unnamed species as Yoda and Grogu. Active since the High Republic Era, she oversaw Jedi Initiates and spent much of her time as a scholar in the Jedi Archives, while remaining an able Jedi in the field.
During the High Republic she fought the Path of the Open Hand cult on Dalna in the battle known as the Night of Sorrow. In the last years of the Republic she served on the Jedi High Council and trained the Padawan Oppo Rancisis; after growing suspicious of Master Dooku, she confronted him and was defeated and killed, an event depicted in Tales of the Jedi.
