“Fear changes everything.”
Stephen King's adaptation of "The Mist" (2007) unfolds in a besieged Maine town where a freak storm engulfs the populace in an impenetrable fog. David Drayton and his young son become stranded in a grocery store with a handful of neighbors, only to find themselves under siege by unimaginable terrors lurking in the mist. The claustrophobic setting amplifies the terror as the group's sanity frays along with the fabric of reality, forcing them to confront both external threats and the abyss of their own fears.
