The Third Man

Postwar Vienna teems with decay and disillusion as Holly Martins, a pulp Western writer down on his luck, arrives to visit his childhood friend Harry Lime, only to find him dead. Convinced of a conspiracy, Martins unravels a web of deceit, encountering the obstructive Major Calloway and the enigmatic Anna, Lime's estranged lover.
