King Balon Greyjoy is the Lord Reaper of Pyke and head of House Greyjoy, father of Theon and Yara and elder brother of Euron and Aeron. A hard and ambitious man, he led the Greyjoy Rebellion against the Iron Throne to revive the Ironborn 'Old Way,' and was defeated, losing two sons and giving Theon to the Starks as a hostage.
