Ser Daemon Sand is a background figure in the fourth season of Game of Thrones. A Dornish knight of bastard birth, he serves as squire to Prince Oberyn Martell of Dorne.
During Oberyn's trial by combat against Ser Gregor Clegane, Daemon attends his master and witnesses the Red Viper's death. In George R. R. Martin's source novels he is a more prominent figure known as the Bastard of Godsgrace.
