Dongo, nicknamed 'Dongo the Doomed', is a giant who joins the Free Folk army of Mance Rayder, the King-Beyond-the-Wall. The character has no counterpart in the source novels.
In Game of Thrones he is first seen building a tent from mammoth bones in the wildling camp, and later fights in the battle for the Wall, firing ballista bolts at Castle Black's defenders before he is killed by a bolt fired from atop the Wall.
