Gerald is a minor character in the second season of the HBO series Game of Thrones. A groom of smallfolk origin from the Stormlands, he serves in the army King Renly Baratheon raises during the War of the Five Kings.
While Renly is encamped in the Stormlands, Gerald is injured by a horse but recovers well, and the king greets him during a tour of the camp given to Catelyn Stark. He has no direct equivalent in George R. R. Martin's source novels.
