Renly Baratheon is the youngest of the three Baratheon brothers and Lord of Storm's End in the HBO series Game of Thrones. Charming and popular at court, he served as Master of Laws on his brother Robert's Small Council and maintained a long, discreet relationship with Ser Loras Tyrell.
After Robert's death, Renly laid claim to the Iron Throne, allied himself with the powerful House Tyrell through his marriage to Margaery Tyrell, and raised a large host from the Reach and the Stormlands. He named Brienne of Tarth to his Kingsguard before his short-lived campaign for the crown.
