Ser Gregor Clegane, known as the Mountain That Rides or simply the Mountain, is a knight of House Clegane in service to House Lannister and the elder brother of Sandor Clegane. Monstrously large and notoriously brutal, he is one of the most feared warriors in Westeros, remembered for the murders of Elia Martell and her children during the Sack of King's Landing.
In Game of Thrones he takes part in the Hand's tournament, raids the Riverlands, and oversees the torture of prisoners at Harrenhal.
