Orell was a wildling warg who could project his consciousness into an eagle, which he used for reconnaissance while marching with the Free Folk and Mance Rayder's host beyond the Wall. A member of the raiding party that captured Jon Snow, he distrusted the Night's Watch recruit and was ultimately killed by him, though a portion of his mind lived on within his eagle.
