Betsy Butterbur is a Woman of Bree who appears in Peter Jackson's The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug. She is the wife of Butterbur Snr, mother of the innkeeper Barliman Butterbur, and a barmaid at the Prancing Pony, where she serves Thorin Oakenshield and his company. A non-canonical character created for the film trilogy, she was played by Katie Jackson.
