Tar-Míriel, also called Ar-Zimraphel, was the daughter of King Tar-Palantir and the last rightful heir of Númenor. Her cousin Ar-Pharazôn seized the throne and took her to wife against her will, and in Tolkien's Akallabêth she perished in the Downfall of Númenor.
In Amazon's The Rings of Power an alternate Míriel, portrayed by Cynthia Addai-Robinson, rules as Queen-regent in place of her ailing father and leads a Númenórean expedition to the aid of the Southlands. See the Timeline for chronology.
