Emmy Rossum

Emmy Rossum, born Emmanuelle Grey Rossum on September 12, 1986, rose to prominence as a child opera performer in New York City before transitioning to screen acting with roles in "Genius" and "Mystic River." Her breakthrough came at sixteen with the film "Mystic River," followed by notable performances in "The Day After Tomorrow" and "The Phantom of the Opera." She gained sustained recognition for her portrayal of Fiona Gallagher in the long-running series "Shameless," and has since ventured into directing and producing, including the Peacock series "Angelyne," in which she also stars.
