Jet Li
Jet Li, born Li Lianjie in Beijing in 1963, rose to international stardom through a blend of martial arts prowess and cinematic flair. After winning national championships as a wushu champion, he transitioned to acting with a breakthrough role in Shaolin Temple, catapulting him to fame in China. His portrayal of folk hero Wong Fei-hung in the Once Upon A Time In China series further solidified his status as a martial arts icon. Li ventured into Hollywood with Lethal Weapon 4, but truly shone as a leading man in Romeo Must Die.
