Saoirse Ronan

Saoirse Una Ronan, born in 1994, is an American-born Irish actress whose career in period dramas since childhood has garnered significant acclaim. Her breakthrough came with the role in "Atonement" in 2007, earning an Academy Award nomination. She further cemented her status with starring roles in "The Lovely Bones," "Hanna," and "The Grand Budapest Hotel," before receiving critical praise and an Academy Award nomination for her portrayal of an Irish immigrant in "Brooklyn."
