Taika Waititi

Taika Waititi, born in 1975, is a New Zealand filmmaker, writer, actor, and comedian whose work spans film and television, earning him an Academy Award, BAFTA, and Grammy. Notably, his feature films "Boy" and "Hunt for the Wilderpeople" topped New Zealand’s box office. Waititi's accolades include a nomination for his short film "Two Cars, One Night." He co-created the hit TV series "What We Do in the Shadows" and directed "Jojo Rabbit," which earned him an Oscar for Best Adapted Screenplay.
