Kareel Odan was a joined Trill and the most recent host of the Odan symbiont, becoming joined in 2367 after the previous host was killed during negotiations on Peliar Zel.
As Odan, Kareel attempted to renew the symbiont's earlier relationship with Doctor Beverly Crusher, but the repeated change of hosts led Crusher to end the relationship. The character appeared in Star Trek: The Next Generation.
