Born in Copernicus City on Earth's moon in 2324 and raised by her grandmother Felisa Howard, Beverly attended Starfleet Academy from 2342 to 2350, earning her Doctor of Medicine. She married Jack R. Crusher, with whom she had a son, Wesley; Jack died on an away mission under Picard's command, and Beverly later joined Picard's Enterprise crew.
