Ensign Sito Jaxa was a 24th-century Bajoran Starfleet officer. As a cadet she was a member of Nova Squadron and became caught up in the cover-up of a fatal flight-training accident, a stigma she worked to overcome at Starfleet Academy.
Assigned to the USS Enterprise-D at Captain Picard's request, Sito served in the security department under Worf, who became her mentor. She volunteered for a covert mission into Cardassian space and was reported killed in the line of duty in 2370; her memory later inspired Beckett Mariner. Sito appears in Star Trek: The Next Generation and Star Trek: Lower Decks, portrayed by Shannon Fill.
