Kharrus was a Gran male senator of Kinyen who served in the Galactic Senate during the Clone Wars and was an ally of Senator Padmé Amidala. A veteran diplomat experienced with dangerous assignments, he stood about 1.78 meters tall and was known for his ornate white tunic.
When the pirate Hondo Ohnaka captured Count Dooku, Supreme Chancellor Palpatine sent Kharrus—accompanied by Jar Jar Binks and clone shock troopers—to deliver the ransom to Florrum. Kharrus was killed when his Nu-class shuttle crashed on the planet's surface, and was buried near the crash site by the survivors, who completed the mission in his stead.
