Satine Kryze was a human female Mandalorian, the Duchess of Kalevala and pacifist ruler of the New Mandalorians and the planet Mandalore during the final decades of the Galactic Republic. A member of Clan Kryze and daughter of Duke Adonai Kryze, she rose to lead the reformist New Mandalorian movement and guided Mandalore through reconstruction after the Mandalorian Civil War.
During the Clone Wars, Kryze kept Mandalore neutral and led the Council of Neutral Systems, opposing the militarism of the terrorist group Death Watch and its eventual alliance with the Sith Lord Maul.
