Lord Bartimos Celtigar is the head of House Celtigar and Lord of Claw Isle, a Crownlands house of Valyrian descent. During the Dance of the Dragons he served as a traditionalist member of Queen Rhaenyra Targaryen's black council on Dragonstone, advising on the war against the greens.
On the council he pressed the advantage of the blacks' greater numbers of dragons and fighting men, coordinated ravens to Crownlands allies, and helped manage the fallout from the murder of Prince Jaehaerys.
