Ser Hugh Hammer, known as the Hammer, is a King's Landing blacksmith and a dragonseed the bastard son of Princess Saera Targaryen. Introduced in House of the Dragon, he is a commoner struggling to provide for his wife Kat and their ailing daughter, and his Targaryen blood ultimately draws him into the war between the greens and the blacks.
