Lord Merryweather is the Lord of Longtable and head of House Merryweather, a character in the HBO series House of the Dragon set during the reign of Viserys I Targaryen. Having sworn allegiance to Rhaenyra Targaryen as heir to the Iron Throne, he is counted among the Black loyalists during the Dance of the Dragons.
He refuses to bend the knee to Aegon II after Viserys's death and is imprisoned in the Red Keep, later freed by Daemon Targaryen when the Blacks take the city.
