Nymeria Sand, often called "Nym," is a character in the HBO series Game of Thrones. She is one of the Sand Snakes, the bastard daughters of Prince Oberyn Martell of Dorne, and is depicted as a calculating warrior who favors a bullwhip in combat.
Alongside Ellaria Sand and her half-sisters Obara and Tyene, Nymeria takes part in the seizure of power in Dorne following Oberyn's death. She is named after Nymeria, the legendary warrior-queen of the Rhoynar, from whom House Martell descends. Her storyline ends when she is killed during Euron Greyjoy's ambush of the Iron Fleet.
