Fimbul is a Hunter Orc created for Peter Jackson's Hobbit film trilogy and has no basis in J.R.R. Tolkien's writings. Serving in Azog the Defiler's warband, he rises to become Azog's right-hand and second-in-command after the Orc Yazneg is killed for his failures.
He takes part in the pursuit of Thorin Oakenshield and his company across the wild and later follows Azog's son Bolg to Lake-town, where he is killed by Legolas. Fimbul was portrayed by Stephen Ure across An Unexpected Journey and The Desolation of Smaug.
