The Ascetic was one of three female Mystics from Rhûn in the Second Age who, with her companions the Dweller and the Nomad, journeyed into Rhovanion in search of the Stranger, believing him to be Sauron returned. When the Stranger revealed himself instead to be one of the Istari, he disintegrated the Mystics, who were later shown to have served a Dark Wizard. Created for The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power and portrayed by Kali Kopae, she is a non-canonical character.
