Her portrayal of Carmen in The Color of Money earned her an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress. Mastrantonio’s filmography includes The Abyss, Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, and The Perfect Storm, alongside a Tony Award nomination for her performance in Man of La Mancha.
