Nog is a Ferengi introduced in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, notable as the first Ferengi to enter Starfleet. The son of Rom and Prinadora and nephew of Quark, he grew up on Ferenginar and worked as a waiter at Quark's on Deep Space 9 before pursuing a Starfleet career with the endorsement of Commander Benjamin Sisko.
