Silva La Forge was a female Human Starfleet officer of the 24th century, best known as the mother of engineer Geordi La Forge. Married to the exozoologist Edward M. La Forge, she raised two children, Geordi and Ariana, while she and her husband pursued separate postings across Federation space.
By 2369 she had risen to command the starship USS Hera. The following year the Hera went missing, and La Forge and her crew were listed as missing in action; subsequent search efforts found no trace of the vessel. She was portrayed by Madge Sinclair.
