Marrok, known at one time as the First Brother, was a mysterious Force-sensitive humanoid warrior who was raised within the Jedi Order and later served the Galactic Empire as an Inquisitor. Tasked with hunting surviving Jedi during the Great Jedi Purge, he worked alongside the Eleventh Brother, notably during Imperial operations on the Mid Rim world of Janix to track down the former Sith Lord Maul.
Following the Empire's collapse, Marrok was hired as a mercenary by the Nightsister Morgan Elsbeth, serving alongside the former Jedi General Baylan Skoll and his apprentice Shin Hati. Around 9 ABY he aided Elsbeth's search for Grand Admiral Thrawn, duelling the former Jedi Padawan Ahsoka Tano on Corellia and, later, on Seatos, where he was struck down by Tano's blade.
