Morgan Elsbeth was a Force-sensitive human Nightsister, starship designer, and industrialist who became one of Grand Admiral Thrawn's most dedicated followers. Born on Dathomir, she survived the massacre of the Nightsisters during the Clone Wars, in which her mother Selena was killed, and carried that loss into a lifelong pursuit of power and revenge.
During the reign of the Galactic Empire she supplied resources for the construction of the Imperial Navy and ruled as magistrate of Calodan on the planet Corvus. After the Empire's fall she led a regime and an army of Imperial sympathizers dedicated to returning the exiled Thrawn to the galaxy, bringing her into conflict with the former Jedi Ahsoka Tano.
